It's hard to believe that Gabriella joined our family a month ago. I still can't believe I will be celebrating my first Mother's Day next weekend. It feels like a dream. (Maybe that is due to the lack of sleep.)
Recently Gabriella has been crying anytime she is awake, day or night. With suspicions of colic, we took her for a check-up. The doctor confirmed she has colic but also said that the day symptoms sound like acid reflux. She is now on meds. to help her reflux out. We are still not sure if the reflux is getting better. She is still wincing and crying during the day, but it is a little better.
We are trying every remedy under the sun for the colic.(Literally EVERY remedy) They are all hit and miss and we have no tried and true fix. We just hope she doesn't last too long in this phase. It is tough seeing her uncomfortable and in pain.
She is eating well though and has gained another lb. since her 2 week check-up. She is now 8lbs. 8 oz. Still small to some, but amazing to us that she is growing! :)
