Baby and the Chicks

We hatched baby chicks in our classroom this year. They hatched this week and were returned to the farm today. However, I made sure to drop by Gabbie's daycare to show the kids. I loved her reaction. At ,she tried to squeeze one of the chick,s head. Then she was a little more gentle with it as it climbed up her shirt. When we got to the farm office, I had her say goodbye to one by putting it on her leg. She was not having it and shook it like crazy until it finally fell off. Poor baby! (and I mean the chick)
