With Valentine's Day coming up, we sat down the other day to get her class Valentine's done.
She wanted to do each one herself.
For time sake, I helped her with her friend's names.
She was very serious.
We had to lay each one out when she finished.
Do you see the other ones on deck?
She carefully selected each one for her friends.
I really don't care if she is ahead of the curve or just plain average.
As a teacher, I love seeing her begin playing with concept of word and phonemic awareness.
What's neat is she knows how to write all of her letters.
All I have to do now is spell something and she can write it herself.
