His ear tube procedure is scheduled for June 10. Hopefully that will alleviate some of the issues he is having.
He has been walking like a champ since about 11 months. There are times now where I think Gabbie walked into the room, but I look down and see a small fluffy head next to me instead.
He is still taking his sweet time talking. He does say some words, but even those can be infrequent.
His first official word?
Uh Oh! (Fitting right?)

Ah Yu? (Hello, which is only said when he plays with his phone)

MuMuMuMuMu (The ONLY time I hear this one is when he follows me around whining)
Gabbie:
She officially qualified for a speech IEP this past week. We are very excited because between her low voice tone and her nasal emissions(pushing air out of her nose as she says certain sounds) she can still be unintelligible at times. Her speech therapy probably won't start until the next school year though because we still have to go through the paperwork before her IEP is created.
Besides her recent Appletree Show, she also has a Ballet and Tumbling show coming up as well.
She continues to go into her room to "work," as she creates art and collages for every person in the family. If there is someone new on the phone with me, she wants to know their name and then creates artwork for them as well.
Her new favorite thing to make are crowns. Grandpop, you have a very colorful one coming to you for your birthday!
And lastly, I leave you with a Gabbie Randomism:
Jeff(sounding excited in an attempt to lure Gabbie): Gabbie! I am going to Giant, do you want to come with me?
Gabbie(looking up from her coloring): Hmmm. Giant starts with a G........no thank you. (Goes back to coloring)
