Tea Time

A while back we ventured out to one of Jeff and my favorite places as a kid, Toys R Us.  Now it's not a place we frequent often because 1. The whole time you walk around the kids want pretty much every item in every aisle and 2. You inevitably leave with something.   However, it was time for a random treat and secretly Jeff and I still love roaming the aisles looking at toys.

After much decision making(and guidance toward cheaper choices), Kiernan decided on a Thomas train(shocker) and Gabbie decided on a paint your own tea set.

While Kiernan played with his new treasure at home, Gabbie and I got to work painting her new set.  We had to wait a day for it to dry and then baked it in the oven so the paint would set.  The final product was really cute.

Now we are served "tea" on a regular basis.
