Whiskers on Kittens?   Not so much

Bright Copper Kettles and Warm Woolen Mittens?   No, not really

Brown Paper Packages Tied Up With String?   Hmm, maybe

What are a few of his favorite things?

No worries about his fine motor skills.  He gets practice pulling these out every day.

Ellie's Water Bowl

I guess he is trying to get a jump start on learning to swim.  He often likes to turn our kitchen into a swimming pool.

Our Fireplace 

We thought, "This has a screen.  We can use the baby gate that is normally here to block off the Christmas tree for a few weeks." 

Silly presumptuous parents!

This little guy figured out how to pull the screen back and dove right in. 

What could be so fascinating behind this door that we need to keep it closed 24/7?

Gabbie's Blankie 

This is the first thing he makes a beeline for if it is found lying around. Gabbie's gift to Kiernan for Christmas is his own blankie.  Her hope is he will stop stealing hers.  (Not so sure about that one Gabs.)

When I look at this picture, it is almost as if a light from heaven is shining upon this woven piece of nirvana.

Well, I'm sure that is what Kiernan sees when he looks at it.

Note:  Immediately after this picture was taken, it was scooped up off the floor.  Gabbie heard the heavy breathing of an infant feverishly trying to get to the blankie before he was found out.
