Yes please!!!
Today marks the first day of a LOOONG awaited spring break.
At this moment we should be driving to Richmond for Jeff's Chranniversary present. Sadly, due to rain, the Auto Racing school at the Richmond International Raceway was canceled. Due to the packed schedule, Jeff will now have to wait until October to do his 8 rookie laps in a stock car.
The good news is is that Jeff's parents still wanted to take Gabbie and Kiernan for the weekend.
So here we sit, in our basement, watching a movie with the surround sound cranked up. The baby gates are wide open. There are no sounds of snoring coming from the baby monitors behind us. The dog's water bowl is on the floor with no worries of it being sabataged by small little pudgy fingers. The car is free of car seats. We get to actually sleep in tomorrow and have a full day to ourselves.(Something we have not had since before Kiernan was born.)
I love you all, but I am going to get back to my movie.
I leave you with some cool pics of the Native Lands field trip we went on this week. It is a great festival celebrating African, American Indian and Western cultures. It was such a beautiful day!
