The leprechaun had already visited Gabbie's school. Green feet were everywhere. They knocked over tables, chairs and set up green food and toys all over her room. He even peed green in the potty! She was beside herself upon seeing the mess and was desperate to catch him.
Kiernan must have had a nice celebration as well. Sara made little headbands for all of the children. I was impressed this lasted about 10 minutes before being ripped off his head.
The evening was topped off with having a quiet family dinner, NOT consisting of corned beef and cabbage. However, we did make my Grandma's special Irish Soda Bread.
